On Feb 21st-22nd, 2015 we held our first ever pop-up shop in Toronto! It was an exciting way for us to meet with the brides and bridal parties and show them all of our different dress styles.
Keeping things light and bubbly, we provided champagne and music to the likes of Janet Jackson as our brides and their girls checked out the samples of dresses, fabrics, and colours available. With their eyes wide open, smiles from ear to ear, we could tell that each bridal party was having a fun time sifting through the variety of frocks. Plus, with all of the different custom details provided for them on our display tables, you could tell that they were enjoying trying to picture and put together different textures and colours.
With about an hour to consult with our experts and try on dresses, each party had the chance to ask all the necessary questions they needed and to discuss amongst each other what they liked and didn’t like. This is a really important step in making a decision about the bridesmaid dress! What made this a truly different experience from other bridal salons was that the brides had the option to ask “If I pair this colour with this fabric, is this doable?” To which our experts would smile and say that whatever the bride wants, she will get (to the best of our ability, of course). You could see the brides’ eyes light up as they eagerly began to think of all of the ways they could customize their dresses. That response and excitement is why we love our brides! They too get a rush when they realize that they are able to make their dress anything they want.
You see, this pop-up shop was not just a way for us to meet all of the amazing brides and their girls, but it was also our way of showing how easy it is to create the perfect dress. With a bit of sparkle here, a sweetheart neckline there, and the colour of your dreams it’s a fun and a creative way to make your dresses unique. Did we mention that the dress fits each bridesmaid like a glove? With all the fun we had, you sure wouldn’t want to miss the next one! Stay tuned for our next pop up shop!
